Uptown Girl

So on my mission to practice getting Niva out of the house more, we traveled even further today! Our friend Jen Oeltjen who is the mommy of Taylor wanted to lend me a book about good baby activities for the first year. They live about 20 miles away in North Austin...would Niva be able to cruise all the way down Mopac without any drama? Indeed, she succeeded going there and coming back! My confidence in Eggs and Bakey is getting greater each day. We wanted to play with Baby Taylor (who is 10 months senior to Niva) but unfortunately, she was napping. We know how valuable Baby Naps are so maybe next time. Thanks to Jen for motivating me to get out of the baby nursery!
