Niva Hearts Beans

As I gave Niva her snack of delicious, crisp, sweet apples, I was also preparing tonight's dinner-- a big crockpot full of chili. Niva went crazy at the sight of the beans as I dumped them out of the can and completely forgot about the apples. So, that's what her snack was today...room-temperature, unsalted black beans. And she kept asking for more. What a weird kid. (But I hope this love for veggies never ends!)
