Brother and Sister's Birth Day!

So, today is the day that Niva gets a couple of siblings.....oh HAPPY DAY!!! I have enjoyed my time as Niva being my one and only Pardner but now it's about to become a lot more fun! And my sweet Niva is going to be an awesome big sister...

Yesterday, Niva's friends Sebastian and Carla (and families) invited us to spend the day at their rented cottage on the Blanco River in Wimberley. The weather couldn't have been more perfect...we had the best time! Check out these buddies on the river:

The Puzzlemaster

Yesterday morning, Niva asked me randomly, "Mom, am I genius?" I said to her, "What! How do you know the word "genius"???" I suspect she heard her biggest fan Gammy Shrestha call her this. Well, later on that afternoon Niva proved Gammy right by completing a 48 piece puzzle on her own. I didn't so much as glance at the puzzle the whole time she was doing it. About 30 minutes passed, and TA-DA!, here she is with her Candy Land puzzle:

I am so proud of my Lil Dude for not giving up or getting frustrated the whole time!

Valentine's Day 2014
